Hi Everyone! My name is Sarah Maldonado and I am one of the lucky students selected to go on Bucknell’s Digital Sojourns trip in Japan! After learning about the digital sojourns project through some friends, I had the chance to meet with Professor Del Testa to discuss this project with my senior design class.
During our time in Japan I am responsible for working on social media and assisting in the matterport scans. For social media, I will be running the @iamraybucknell Instagram to share our experience abroad as well as a closer look into the details of our project and trip. Additionally, I will be using a GoPro to film promo videos of the trip! Feautured below is some of the equipment I will be bringing with me!
I am extremely excited for this experience and even more grateful to have been given the opportunity to attend. The Digital Sojourns project and its goal to aid those who do not have the opportunity to travel experience the joys and exposure of traveling, is something I feel passionate about. I can’t wait to be a part of this journey and its progression and to see what Japan has in store for us!!
